Seattle, WA – January 15, 2008 - The Snap-on Stars of Karting is pleased to announce that G-Phactory in conjunction with Sodi Racing has renewed their patron sponsorship for the 2008 karting season. This will be G-Phactory’s second season as a series sponsor.

G-Phactory’s Team Principals Glenn Zeen and Everett Giebler are excited to return to the Snap-on Stars of Karting for their second full season of competition.

“After a great season of racing in 2007 the G-phactory/Sodi Racing Team is looking forward to a fun and successful 2008. We are excited about building on everything that our team and drivers have learned from last season. Sodikart is also introducing new and innovative products for the new year that are sure to be eye-catching. We are very fortunate to have such a great partner and manufacturer that matches our desire to win races.  We are extending our dealer network and raising a lot of interest nationwide, which is why racing in the most competitive and only true national championship is important to us. We support what the Stars of Karting is doing for the future of the sport,” stated Sodi Kart principal Glenn Zeen.

“We are excited to have G-Phactory back in 2008,” explained Snap-on Stars of Karting Marketing Director Jeff Swoboda. “The Sodi crew is one of the most professional teams in the paddock and their on track results speak for themselves. It is great to be receiving their support for the second consecutive year.”

Receiving management help from the 2007 Indianapolis 500 Rookie-of-the-Year Phil Giebler, the G-Phactory Sodi Racing Team will field entries and fight for national championships in the Junior Intercontinental A (JICA), Intercontinental C (ICC), Intercontinental A (ICA) and Spec Racer divisions.

“I can’t wait to get the 2008 season started, we have shown that we can win races and consistently run up front. We progressed all season long and I am proud of our team and drivers. We have lots of momentum and I hope we can bring home a National Championship this year.  The Stars of Karting is a most effective way to showcase your talent and move on to higher levels of motor racing. I have used my experience in karting to propel my career, winning the 2005 ICA National Championship and 2006 ICC Eastern Championship to competing in the A1GP World Cup claiming Team USA’s highest finish, then qualifying for the INDY 500 and winning the Rookie-of-the-Year award. It’s great to complete the entire ladder system and justifies the IRL’s support of series as well. I hope there are many more drivers to follow,” said Giebler.

With the patron sponsorship, G-Phactory and Sodi Racing will benefit from on-site signage, online promotion via starsofkarting.com and at the track public address announcements throughout each and every 2008 event weekend.
