FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

pri2007eventlogojpg.jpgSeattle , WA – (January 4, 2008) :   The 2nd Annual 2007 Snap-on All-Stars Karting Classic from at the PRI Show is being talked about as one of the best races of the season.   If you were not able to attend the event in Orlando, you can still watch this event on SpeedTV next Saturday, January 12.   Lucas Oil Company is proud to feature the Masters class on its 7:00 P.M. Eastern Saturday, January 12 broadcast of its “On the Edge” half hour program.   The Karter division of the event will air on the Lucas Oil “On the Edge” program at a later date to be determined.

The broadcast will compile all of the on and off track highlights that comprised the Master’s class category during the All-Star event.   The Master’s class is comprised of the impressive list including A.J. Allmendinger (NASCAR), Buddy Rice (IndyCar), Marco Andretti (IndyCar), Bryan Herta (ALMS), Christian Fittipaldi (ALMS), Jamie McMurray (NASCAR), Ron Capps (NHRA), Steve Johnson (NHRA), Michael Valiante (Grand-Am), Joey Hand (Grand-Am), Eddie Lawson (MotoGP), Scott Speed (Formula One / ARCA), Phil Giebler (IndyCar), Jan Heylen (ChamCar), Heath Voss (Supercross), Nelson Philippe (ChampCar), and Lake Speed (NASCAR).

The event format also allowed the drivers from the Karter class to qualify through the Karter class final to compete in the Masters class feature race.   For many who were there for the race the story that developed out of this subplot was the emergence of Gary Carlton in the Masters class feature.   This broadcast will give you the opportunity to witness this outstanding performance as Gary attempted to parlay his victory in the Karter class into further success in the Masters class.

The event was only able to be shown through advertising support from series sponsors Snap-on Tools and Bridgestone Tires.   As if this was not enough the winners in each class won a Snap-on Tools toolbox.   In addition, Bridgestone continued its commitment to supply the entire field with tires for the event.
