Leatt-Brace Joins Snap-on Stars of Karting Series Patron Lineup |

The Snap-on Stars of Karting Series is pleased to have Leatt-Brace join the patron list for the national level program. Beginning at the National Finals in Las Vegas and continuing throughout 2009, Leatt-Brace will be seen at each and every Stars of Karting event.
With the National Finals being held on a temporary circuit on the grounds of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway October 10 - 12, 2008, Leatt-Brace will be providing all three British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) Stars of Tomorrow pilots with a free Leatt-Brace MOTO KART.

The MOTO KART Leatt-Brace is designed for use in all go-kart and karting applications. The brace was developed to help prevent extreme forward, rearward and sideways head movement during impact. The Leatt-Brace also protects against Axial loading which is compression of the spinal column due to the effect of force on the helmet.
There is currently no other neck protection system available for karters that can effectively help prevent all of the above potential injuries. The design rationale behind the Leatt-Brace is to bring the head to a controlled stop. This is achieved by providing a padded rigid structure that acts as an alternate load path for neck forces. Helmet impacts otherwise transmitted from the helmet to skull and then to the neck are re-directed from the helmet to the brace to other body structures in a safe way.
With their patron sponsorship, Leatt-Brace will receive trackside signage, public address announcements and on-site vending rights at every Snap-on Stars of Karting event. Leatt-Brace will also receive online promotion through the Stars of Karting website at www.StarsofKarting.com
The Snap-on Stars of Karting Series National Finals will take place October 10 - 12, 2008 on a temporary circuit on the grounds of the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. After crowning divisional champions at Friday evening's banquet, National Champions will be crowned at the end of competition on Championship Sunday.
