"Put a Stars Official in a Dunk Tank."

(Seattle, WA)- July 9, 2008- Safety First..That is what you have been hearing since you were a kid. Safety is one of the most important things to the racing industry. This very important part of racing is also extremely expensive. The Safety for Stars fundraiser will take place at the USA International Raceway in Shawano, WI on July 11-13 at the Snap-On Stars of Karting Eastern Division Final. For a $20 donation you can nominate a Stars official to go in the dunk tank.

All of the proceeds will go to purchase safety equipment including crash bags and barriers just to name a couple. The fundraiser is sponsored by Streeter Super Stands. Support the Stars of Karting drivers by providing donations to purchase safety equipment in order to keep these drivers safe now and in the future.

Some of the other activities that will be on site this weekend will be a Brat Fry on Friday night concluding the end of Friday practice. The Brat Fry is free to all competitors as well as their families. On Saturday and Sunday a massage therapist will be on site for 10 minute massage for only $10. That is only a dollar a minute and is a great break from the hectic racing day. If there are any questions about these activities please stop by registration for more information.
