To all competitors:
This weekend’s event being held at Miller Motorsports Park (April 25-27) will have a substantially reduced timeline to our normal move in procedures on Thursday and we need to enact a very strict move-in procedure. Miller Motorsports Park has another vendor booked that will have exclusivity to the site on Thursday and therefore does not allow us to do as we have typically done. The following procedures must be followed:
- Registration will open on time and all day on Thursday and will be located at the Welcome Center of the Miller Motorsports Complex. All competitors, families, teams and transporters upon arrival and needing to register must park in the pre-stage parking lot we have set up that is south on Sheep Lane from the main entrance to the complex. Signs will be posted to direct you to this lot. DO NOT pull into the main entrance to the complex please.
- We will have a shuttle van that will be available all day Thursday to take registrants to and from the Welcome Center.
- Once we are allowed to move in (regardless of what time this may be) we will do so one at a time.
- The exact time of move in is still unknown but we will do everything we can on our competitors behalf to enter the facility as soon as possible.
- We will extend the time of all operations later into the day of Thursday.
- We will delay the start time of practice by 1.5 hours on Friday morning, now starting at 9:30 AM and running the full program 1.5 hours later into the day, now finishing at 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday are not effected and we will run our normal program.
- The mandatory scrutineering for all karts during Friday practice sessions will be extended by 2 hours (until 12 noon) so no one should miss a practice session.
The delay in setting up is a hardship that we wish we did not have to deal with but we all must do what we can to be prepared. We appreciate everyone’s patience with this in advance.
Thank you,
Paul Zalud
