Snap-on Stars of Karting and Alpinestars Partner Again for 2008

Snap-on Stars of Karting Presented by the IndyCar Series is proud to announce that Alpinestars will once again be a series partner in 2008. In addition to supporting the series and prize fund, Alpinestars will continue to be a top-level provider of products for teams, drivers, and event staff. Alpinestars owns one of the great global motorsports brands and is known for their ability to create superior technical equipment for auto racers and motorcycle riders. This ability to provide a high level of protection with a great style has allowed Alpinestars to continue to forge new products throughout the technical protective apparel marketplace. In addition to technical products, Alpinestars also features a fashionable sportswear line that can be seen on many of the top racers around the world. Paul Zalud, president of the Snap-on Stars of Karting said, "Alpinestars is seen in the paddocks and on the leading race teams around the world. We are proud to be associated with Alpinestars once again in 2008." The first Snap-on Stars of Karting race is set for April 4-6 in Ocala, FL. Alpinestars and the Stars of Karting staff will be there to continue moving the sport forward.

Snap-on Stars of Karting Presented by the IndyCar Series represents the pinnacle series in the sport of karting and often times the first step to a career in motorsports.
